This mug is designed to look like a traffic barrel.
When not in use, the mug is inverted onto the coaster in “sculpture mode”.
When in use, the mug can be held in your hand or rested safely in the specially designed coaster, where it won’t tip over.
A note on form:
You may have qualms about calling this a mug, but hear me out:
The definition of a mug is “a large cup, typically cylindrical, with
a handle and used without a saucer.”
It’s a large cup. It is cylindrical. It has a handle.
(And its base is a coaster, not a saucer)
Ergo, mug.
If you really object, it could also be considered a tumbler. That is also true.
